Who Am I?
A small intro on how I became an SEO
My path into SEO is unconventional but I find most SEO’s don’t get into the career with a childhood dream of writing title tags and meta descriptions. When I graduated from UCF in 2016 with an Ad/PR degree, I had completed 3 internships and none of them were intriguing to me. I did take one SEO class and I distinctly remember coming out of it and saying “I will for sure never be doing that”. The narrator pans out with a “and we know that didn’t actually happen.”
Stemming from my college leasing job, I got a job for “email marketing outreach” which turned out to be linkbuilding. From this, I gained pride in every link, in every traffic increase and my site content adjustments.
From this position, I moved to NYC the summer of 2017 and have enjoyed so much, especially with my job at Mediahub Global. I saw the agency through a lot of growth and change and was thrilled to be a part of growing the team.
